    Flights are available from Kolkata to Bagdogra Airport. From Bagdogra to Ravangla, you will have to travel 125 km by private taxi or shared taxi. Then from Ravangla, you will trek 12 km to Maenam Hills.

    2) Train:

    You have to take a train from Kolkata to New Jalpaiguri. There are many shared taxis or private taxis from New Jalpaiguri to Ravangla. Trekking to Maenam Hills from Ravangla.

    3) Bus:

    600 km bus or shared taxi from Kolkata to Siliguri. Shared taxi from Siliguri to Ravangla. Trekking to Maenam Hills from Ravangla.

    There are many hotels, resorts and homestays around Maenam Hills. You can also go camping.




    Best time to visit Maenam Hill:

    1) March to June: Rhododendrons bloom in spring, the weather is pleasant.

    2) September to November: Before the arrival of winter, the sky is clear and Kanchenjunga can be seen from a distance.

    3) December to February: Snow can fall during this time, which makes trekking more challenging.
