New Digha Beach Overview

Digha is a seaside resort town located in West Bengal, India. New Digha beach is one of the most famous beach in this city. It remain in Purba Medinipur district and at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal.

This sea beach has a low gradient with a shallow sand beach with gentle waves extends 7 km in length. It lying about 2 kilometers far away from the Old Digha beach, this tourist spot is a man-made attraction. The sea beach of New Digha is very popular and it’s very much suitable for a lovely weekend getaway and here pollution is also less, so it is look like cool and pretty place makes for less gathering of people. It is a quaint holiday place to spend time in the peaceful lap of nature.

As far as the eyes can see the casuarina trees lined up on the side of New Digha beach. This beach is very attractive for watching sunriseand sunset. There are many beautiful hotels on the side of beach, from these hotels you can see the sunset and sunrise in a very beautiful way. Also there are beautiful hotels at much lower prices. This tourist spot is very nice for couples. In one word this beach is very beautiful and also it is most popular sea beach in West Bengal, India.

October to February is the best time to visit New Digha because the weather is pleasant with temperature ranging between 10 and 28 degrees Celsius. There are museum, gardens and beach, for which the most comfortable times is during these months. Summer time is not an ideal time to visit this place because this time temperature is very high rising up to 38 degrees Celsius.
