Timings of The Taj Mahal: 

Opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset and ticket counter opens 45 minutes before sunrise.

[Note: – The Taj Mahal closed every Friday so that everyone would come to the mosque for prayers.]

The Taj Mahal is one of the worldโ€™s great tourism attractions, one of the wonders of the world, and it is almost always crowed. Widely known as the symbol of love and deliberated as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, it is located on the right bank river of the Yamuna River in the historical city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his third wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Construction of this Monument :

Shah Jahan built a magnificent monument in memory of his beloved wife as a tribute to her, which we know today as The Taj Mahal. Construction of it’s began in the year 1631. It took about 22 years to build this monument, and Mason, stone cutters, carvers, painters, calligraphers, dome-builders and other artisans were taken from Central Asia and Iran to build it. It took 20,000 laborers and 1,000 elephants to build this glory of love. The monument was made totally out of white marble, and which was brought from all over India and the central Asia. After spending about 32 million rupees, It was finally completed in the year 1653.

Ans:-

  1.  Cameras and videos are permitted, but you can’t take photographs inside the mausoleum itself.
  2.   Tripods are banned.
  3.   Keep in mind to recover your free 500ml bottle of water and shoe covers within the ticket price.
  4.   No bags other than wallets are allowed inside.
  5.  Any things made up of leather, any foods and tobacco materials are not allowed inside.
 
Q-3. What is the best time to visit Taj Mahal?  

Ans:- Avoid the winter since it will be foggy from November to January, the best time to visit this place from February to June in early summer and the best days to plan a trip are between Monday to Thursday.
